If You Build It, They Will Come
Out in the country, past the city limit sign, there's a small marquee that points the way to Mustang's Alley Family Music and Dance Center. Located on Hwy. 90 East in Jane, Missouri, Mustang's Alley began as the dream of a very gifted family of singers and musicians.
Every Saturday night, owners Ron and Peggy Ruckman, their family, and their excellent house band entertain with a lively blend of country and rock 'n roll classics. Ron plays guitar and piano. Peggy and their daughters, Karen and Sandy, sing everything from Patsy Cline to Shania Twain, and a few talented cousins have been known to jam with the band. They may even stir up some ragtime piano or blues.
The large dance floor is always hoppin' at the Alley. There's plenty of room for everyone. Don't know how to waltz, two-step or line dance? No problem. Come early for free dance lessons.
There are plenty of comfortable chairs and tables. Refreshments are always available in the lobby, where you can also shoot a game of pool if you forgot your dancing shoes.
Once a month Ron and Peggy host a potluck dinner. Bring your appetite, and your favorite casserole.
Grab somebody's arm and do the Cotton Eyed Joe. Mustang's Alley is the place to be every Saturday night from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
No smoking or drinking allowed, just good, clean family fun. Mustang's Alley is a great place to celebrate your next birthday, anniversary or family reunion. Please call ahead to reserve tables. Phone: 417-435-2582
